A stage plan with dimensions can be found under Tech specs. The standard stage is a 16x 16 foot square. We can extend this with two covered 8x4 sections making a T shaped stage, 24x8ft across the front and 16x8ft at the back. The stage stands at 4 foot, which is a really good height to mean that people can see the stage even when standing in a dense crowd.
The Truck Stage will travel anywhere, to any site accessible to a 4x4 lorry. We are based in Birmingham, and transport costs will be calculated from here. As you are probably very aware, fuel prices do fluctuate, but our costs generally work out at around £2.00 a mile (each way).
All heavy vehicles can dent the ground, but most damage done to grass is caused by wheel spinning owing to lack of traction. The Truck stage has 4 wheel drive and plenty of grip, the wheels will keep going round and not tear up the ground. Equally the truck can drive over just about anything off-road, so if you have a site that it is normally difficult to get a heavy vehicle onto, then The Truck Stage is ideal.
Depending on your budget and resources, there are various options for branding the truck. The two leading positions to place banners are along the back wall and across the stage skirt, but should you have any questions, we will be happy to advise.
We are able to provide power for our outdoor stages and other concessions. However, if you are providing power, then we take, out of preference, either a 32A or 63A 3phase supply with neutral. This really depends on what exactly you want on the stage - if needs be, we can run a minimal set up off just a household 13A socket!
We are very conscious of our environmental impact, and have an environmental policy to manage it. A truck is often perceived as a high fuel consumer, but the efficiency of The Truck Stage design results in fuel reductions and a lower carbon emission rate overall when compared to the 2 or 3 vehicles that would otherwise be used if you hire a stage, sound and lighting from elsewhere. All the electronics are geared up to be as efficient as possible with most of the lighting being LED to keep power consumption as low as possible
