Converting to Bio-Fuel
October 11, 2011
We are in the process of converting our bus onto bio fuel but that’s not as easy as it sounds. The reason is there is a real national shortage of places to purchase bio fuels. In fact its extremely inconvenient to travel to places to get bio fuel. In our case as far as we know we would need to travel to the Black Country to fill up.
We are launching a national campaign to highlight:
The need to encourage the use of bio fuels
A shortage of Bio Fuel outlets around the UK
Encourage bio fuel pumps to be set up at Petrol Stations throughout the country to help protect our environment and change the way we fuel our travel.
The Stage Bus team are very conscious of the environmental impact conventional fuels have when driving all over the country on business. That’s why we are trying to change over to bio fuels. Firstly, to help preserve the environment and secondly, to cut down on running costs, thereby offering a better deal to our customers and saving them money.
What we want to see is bio fuel pumps at more petrol stations so that other vehicles such as lorries which use lots of fuel on a daily basis in their work can cut costs and save the environment at the same time.

Lazy Sunday – Levi Roots on our Mobile Stage in London
June 9, 2011
Another fantastic day in the Sun with Levi Roots! On the 29th May we took the Stage Bus down to Brockwell Park with Levi Roots and his band. Levi on our outdoor stage entertained a huge crowd that had come from all around to hear the music and taste Levi’s delicious sunshine cooking. There were massive give aways too (We have enough juice to last a good few years) and a lovely positive environment, which ended with the band The lazy Habits. – very impressed by these guys, live hip hop from Huddersfield. The Stage Bus was the perfect mobile stage, because it is a quirky platform for a quirky product, it attracts people’s attention and captures their imagination Levis band were on form and it was great to see the crowd getting down to the famous dragon slaying song – Reggae Reggae Sauce. Expect more from Levi this year and keep your eyes on the Stage Bus for more Outdoor Festivals with Levi Roots!
The Stage Bus Oudoors in Southampton
May 26, 2011
First Event of the Summer over without a hitch! Last weekend we brought our mobile stage bus down to Southampton at a community event with the aim of protecting one of the last green spaces in the area – what a great event to kick the season off with. We had a huge range of entertainment, but check out Wax Jacket and the Doghouse Boat Boys. One of the best most interesting Skiffle/blues grass bands I have ever seen. Also we had street dancers, blues, rock, acoustic it was a real family event with kids dancing right up at the front of the stage. Well done to the organiser for a fantastic event, and I think he is looking for some help next year, if anyone is in Southampton and looking to get involved.

The Truck Stage is Almost Ready
September 12, 2010
The Truck Stage is almost ready! With its launch gig set in November we have been having lots of fun welding large bits of metal into place. The Stage itself is based on a custom design we have been working on for a while, another one of Andrews innovations to make it look fantastic but keep it really easy to set up. Designed with stage extensions in mind (not shown in the picture) we can extend the front of the stage to 24ft to produce really quite a big stage! You can keep updated with the construction photos at our facebook page
